Paper Easter nests
Get crafty this year and make your own Easter nests. They make a great last-minute alternative to a basket for an egg hunt, or you could use them to play our fun Easter garden game.
You will need: 4 brown paper bags, scissors, glue, colouring pencils, tissue paper, glitter (optional)
1. Lay the bag out flat and, carefully, make cuts 1cm apart down towards the base of the bag
2. Place the base of the bag flat on the table and shake out the cuts into strips – if you’d like to decorate your nest it’s easiest to do so now
3. Flip the bag upside down and cover the edge of the base generously with glue. Stick all the strips to the base of the bag, making sure they’re evenly spaced to create a curved edge to your nest
4. Leave to dry, sticking the edges down further with tape if required to make the edges more secure. Flip over and fill with chocolate eggs, sweets or your favourite Easter decorations
